Heres a totally ghetto video I did when I first got my Scrambler back in 2010. At the time I didnt really have the extra funding to do much to this bike, so it got the experimental mods. I had taken it in for the first service and the mechanic had told me that people were drilling the baffle out and putting a TOR tune on to help with the roll on snatchiness that these bikes seem to suffer from. I didnt think much about it until a few weeks later when I was at the hardware store and walked by the hole saws. I figured why not. I picked up 2 (1 1/8 29mm) Milwaukee hole saw bits and went home and ordered the ECU to PC cable off Amazon. The cable came in, the bit was chucked up and for some reason we (my buddy George was on hand for the experimentational hardwareific modifiction) decided to film it. I didnt record the after sound, didnt do any dialogue... just raw footage of a drill bit rippin through metal. It did help a bit. I took out both baffles, got a long bit and drilled several holes in the inner baffle plates and put a K&N on. Ive had several tunes on it and still feel that Im searching for the right one. Ive settled with the Arrow tune for now, but Im sure Spring will see more experimentation. :)
