Heres a video of me explaining why I support fire and rescue workers in their dispute with the government over detrimental changes to their pensions and the service generally. The Fire Brigades Union (FBU) is taking strike action today as part of this dispute - and I support that strike action. Firefighters are also taking part in a demonstration in Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire in support of Ricky Matthews, an FBU member unjustly (and possibly illegally) sacked for taking part in previous strike action.
