Heres a visually interesting science fiction video that beckons the exploration of the solar system. Voiced by the late Carl Sagan, this video presents depictions of actual vistas that would exist out among our neighboring planets and their moons. However, though this trekkie daydream still lives today, human spaceflight proponents usually avoid addressing one very inconvenient truth: Earths magnetic field offers us protection from hard radiation in outer space, and any humans venturing forth from our world will be continually exposed to this lethal radiation. Moreover, the gas giants Jupiter and Saturn themselves emit considerable amounts of radiation, more so than the background radiation of space, that would disassociate the chemicals in a human body. Our wise Creator placed us on the perfectly-designed habitat for human life, and any wanderers who presume to abandon that safety to trudge the ice fields of Europa, or skydive from the cliffs of Miranda, can expect to have a very short lifespan indeed.
