Heres an awesome vinyl i picked up just recently. This one has been on my want list for some time and i am stoked to finally have it Danse Macabre - Between The Lines E.P ( Vanessa Rosepin you shared a Danse Macabre song earlier this week and i believe a few other members have also shared some of their songs in the last few months) Danse Macabre are an example of the many auckland post-punk bands from the early 80s time period. What distinguished then from there contemporaries however was there dark synthesiser sound which was relatively unheard of in popular New Zealand music at the time. Heres a fun fact which i recently discovered : Before occupying vocals and synthesiser in Danse Macabre, Nigel Russell was the bass player in Auckland punk band The Spelling Mistakes, and he later went on to form Car Crash Set - an awesome nz synth group :)
