Heres an entertaining thought before I go off to bed. Perhaps you are not as physical as you believe yourself to be. Perhaps youre just the projections of prehistoric, pre-fire man telling each other stories in the dark cave until the perceived safety of morning comes. Perhaps they started the story by imagining fire, a concept that could chase away the blinding darkness, and warm you to the core. Perhaps all you are is a character in the evolving tales and songs built up from the concept of all that a people could do once they discovered this magical source of light and warmth, and tomorrow theyll go out to brave this strange new existence theyve found themselves in, perhaps theyll discover a flame to capture and turn their dreams into reality. Perhaps tomorrow theyll remember that in their story they discovered that there is really nothing frightening at the end of the time you are experiencing and the stories will end, and youll retreat to the recesses of their memory, and off theyll go into the world and decide instead to fall in love with the dark and the light and exist in harmony with all things, and all those things you never liked about your life will never have happened by the time you do exist, for man will never have known fear, because they defeated it that first night in that first cave. If you dare to believe it...who will you be? If you dont really exist now, what will you be when you do? Abracadabra!
