Heres an excellent song, East of the Village from a very underrated 1965 Hank Mobley album, The Turnaround. I consider it one of his best because it contains two separate recording dates and on with two completely different lineups. Its like two great albums in one, enjoy! (On this particular song, February 5, 1965 session) Hank Mobley — tenor saxophone Donald Byrd — trumpet Herbie Hancock — piano Butch Warren — bass Philly Joe Jones — drums The other lineup (The March 7, 1963 session) Hank Mobley — tenor saxophone Freddie Hubbard — trumpet Barry Harris — piano Paul Chambers — bass Billy Higgins — drums
