Heres an eye-opening experience for everyone who reads this. I hope you pass it on. Your tax money is getting divied up to places you might not agree. Heres my perspective on farm subsidies and how Im officially feeling scammed about these. Farm subsidies are sent to the agricultural sector to supplement the income of the farmers, and to encourage growth of particular crops and/or animals. But did you know how much of that food is getting sent to other countries? There should be a requirement for subsidized crops to be kept in the United States, to feed our people. We want to keep our agricultural sector and keep agricultural business afloat, so that we can keep the prices of food at a reasonable level, and so we have a variety of food to eat. But no, thats not how it is. Just picture this: Your tax dollars go to pay for beef, pork, and other animals so, when slaughtered, the meat goes to another country. So again, youre getting scammed. Now youre paying for people to eat the food meant for us. Does that make sense? Why are we the biggest handout country on the planet? How is that justified, when American families are going hungry and paying OBSCENE prices for food now? Our economy is operated based on supply and demand. So the food that you pay taxes for is getting sent to another country, leaving less supply for Americans. This drives the costs up. Im sorry, but I do not condone whatsoever what is going on. And I feel obligated to share this with others who are purchasing and eating less and less due to skyrocketing prices at the supermarket.
