Heres an idea: help already established food pantries develop their own vegetable and fruit gardens. Even further you could establish community vegetable gardens in apartment complex courtyards or provide the resources and teaching for people to grow their own container gardens on balconies or in windows. My love of nutrition and helping those in need has really been coming together lately. A huge issue with our food culture is lack of access to fresh affordable foods, especially to those living in poverty. One of the first steps is publishing or sharing an idea, to make it real and hold yourself accountable. The planning and developing is still under works, but I believe in living passionately with purpose and using that purpose to help serve others. If anyone knows of any agencies already doing something similar to this Id love to hear about it and check them out!
