Heres an update and a teaser for the upcoming book. The first photo is the before image (stolen from the net. lol) and the second is the after (a wonderful photo donated by a wonderful photographer) Thanks to Susy Martian and Annette Lindquist for the work. The basic version is being prettied up a tiny bit before submitting for print and Ill be having an awesome cover created by Ty Levi. Once the basic version is ready for upload, the fundraiser for the fancy version will be launched and Ill offer print and e-versions of the basic book as premiums for donations. Since the print version SHOULD retail for only FIVE BUCKS, it will only take a tiny donation to get something cool. I am hopeful the basic book will be ready by the end of the month and no later than Valentines Day. I have some photos from a few photographers including Emily Martello, Samantha Young, David Murphy, and Leslie Hoffman and I have received one custom art piece already from the very talented Athena Perkins. Among the artists who have agreed to join this party are Kevin Owings, Heather Perkins, Angela Black, Tommy Vinci, and Monica Walker Kodie. I am ALWAYS happy to have more involved, so if you want to be a part of this project just drop me a line. The sooner, the better regarding submissions and original artwork. I want to have a book file as ready to go as possible when the day comes I can afford the hard cover, deluxe edition. I will create a chart detailing who has claimed what poems if that will make things easier. A NOTE TO PHOTOGRAPHERS AND ARTISTS! It wont matter as much for the e-book of the deluxe version, but if you want to see your photos in print, they need to be no lower than 300 dpi in resolution. Please keep that in mind. High resolution makes for better printing. Id prefer receiving all photos at 300 or higher so I dont end up doing double the work for the print and ebook versions.
