Heres another awkward prom story from a supporter of the film! At the time, my boyfriend and I went to different schools. He was a senior and I was a junior. Because I had to go to school that day, he didnt go with his friends into the limo they had originally planned. Instead he waited till I got out of school so that I could get ready and us go together. His uncle worked for a private car service so we pulled up to prom in a really fancy town car. Their prom was red carpet themed so all the seniors got to walk down a literal red carpet on the way in with all the teachers and others at the side taking pictures. Everyone was looking at us when we pulled up, because we were the only ones who pulled up separately in a car, so we looked really fancy. We were halfway to the door, halfway to freedom, when my heel broke and I went flying forward onto the carpet towards the door. Because I was holding his arm, he went flying forward too. In order to try and keep me up, he pulled backwards and lost his footing, knocking over the poles with the rope separating the crowd from us, which caused a chain reaction of pulling poles until eventually the whole entire line of poles was down on the floor. Because so many people were taking pictures, there are literally hundreds of pictures of that mess of an entrance. So I guess you can say, we entered with style.
