Heres another question i got. I installed an aftermarket boost gauge. Now i didnt unplug the stock line to the dash. The new gauge vibrates really fast when idling and sometimes when under boost acts weird. Now assuming the aftermarket gauge is more accurate what can i assume is happening. Here is some more info on what i think may cause this. On my stock ihi my recirculation line from infront of the turbo to intercooler broke so i have a small hole in front of the turbo that i plan on fixing tomorrow. As far as i can tell i hold boost 18psi fine up until 4400 then it starts to drop in psi which i assume is accurate as the ihi isnt efficient in the higher rpms. Car is an 1987 turbo coupe mostly stock. Thanks for reading!
