Heres another update on the wintry weather situation before 21Alive News at 11. Snow has, for the most part, tapered off Fort Wayne northward, with a little bit of ice mixing in from time to time. More snow showers are to be expected overnight, with a storm total of 2-4. Generally Wabash, Huntington, Wells, Adams and Jay counties are struggling to shake off the ice/freezing rain/sleet, although a transition to snow throughout the evening is to be expected. The main highlight will be the ice, however. Still a headache in Indy with freezing rain continuing. PLEASE be careful on the roadways this evening and tomorrow. Its extremely slick out there, even if it doesnt look like it. I will post a link to travel advisories in the comments.
