Heres chapter 1 of the Pokemon story Im working on. But first, a prologue for our main character. The characters name is Christopher, he was once a Pokemon Ranger but used his own Pokemon instead of the capture machine the others use. He and his love Catherine worked together to try to bring down Team Rocket. But one day, they were met by Team Rocket operatives and taken to Giovanni where he convinces Chris to make him work for them or else theyll kill Catherine. Throughout the next 2 years, hes become a leader of TR, but after a while Giovanni saw no more use for him. So he betrays him to the Pokemon Rangers and to the Police Force, kills Catherine and confiscates his Pokemon army. But Chris manages to escape. Ashamed of what he did, he runs over to Mount Moon and he makes a small outpost to lay in hiding, with the small amount of Pokemon he saved to keep him company. He swore an oath to bring down TR, but when his first few attempts fail, he loses hope, until he meets someone. Now for the story. Heres part 1: Chris was walking in the Viridian Forest forest under the cover of darkness to collect some fruits and herbs. When suddenly out of know where, a trainer was being attacked by some Beedrill. Without thinking twice, Chris came to the trainers aid with his Rapidash, knocking out all the Beedrill and capturing their leader for his new army. The trainer was poison and sick, so Chris tended to his injuries with and Antidote and fresh water. After about an hour the trainer woke up. Trainer: Thank you, I am in your debt. Chris: You dont have to thank me. Trainer: Well I am, you deserve that at least. My name is Travis Ketchum. Who are you? Chris: I cannot say because Im a disgrace to Kanto, and the Pokemon world. Travis: No one is a disgrace in my book. Tell me. Chris: Very well. I am Christopher Hastings. Former TR member and Pokemon Ranger. Travis: Ive heard of you. My father spoke of you and knew something wasnt right when you sided with TR, you love Pokemon. *Chris explains what happened* Travis: Maybe we can help each other. Chris: How so? Travis: Team Rocket has a secret base in Pallet Town and has captured the towns people, and even my sister. Youre powerless to take down TR by yourself and we want them out of our town. You help us, then maybe well fight alongside you. No guarantees though. Chris: This is good enough for me. But first, come with me to my base. *They both walk off and make it to Mount Moon in about an hour* Chris: What has happened to your parents? Travis: They were fighting some TR members and told me to run and get help. In the distance, I saw that they escaped. I dont know where to. Chris: Then Ash is safe, for now. Hes a threat to TR. Travis: Why do you say that? Chris: I cannot say that right now. Be ready, we leave at dawn. End of chapter 1.
