Heres how I prepared my hangi - Step 1 - put spuds, kumara & pumpkin in cabbage leaves, salt. Step 2 - on top of vegies put pork & chicken (I used pork slices & chicken nibbles), salt. Step 3 - put stuffing on top of meat. Step 4 - put cabbage leaves to cover everything and wrap in foil. Step 5 - put in oven in a dish with a lid or in the slow cooker (remember make up foils of balls then place parcels of food on top of them). Step 6 - fill the bottom of oven dish or slow cooker with water so it just touches bottom of parcels, put lid on and cook for 5-6 hours on high or 200 degrees (mine was cooked in 5 hours)
