Heres my 10 things: 1. Because I was the oldest of 4, I had to help my Mom in many areas. So by the time I was 10, I was sure I could be married and handle a house. 2. I won a Halloween costume contest in 8th grade at the local parade. I was the most stupid looking clown ever, and was embarrassed to tell them my name. 3. When I started going to the dentist, about 6, I had to go by myself because my Mom had 2 babies at home. The Dr. wasnt too far from my house, but I walked there and the office couldnt believe this little tot came by herself. 4. I lived on one of the main streets in town in one of several row houses. My Mom once counted 53 kids playing on the sidewalk in a 1/2 block area. We played all kinds if games, skated, rode bikes every day til after dark. No yards to play in but we had so much fun. 5. I wasnt ever, and still, afraid of too much. But one fear I had in grade school was going down the fire escape shoot. It started on the 3rd floor and the first time our class had to use it, I couldnt go down. Everybody else went and the teachers were doing everything to make me go but I would not. I dont know what I was afraid of because I loved high slides, etc. Today, I would go down backwards and head first. 6. I remember a lot about my childhood in detail. I can tell you what I was wearing, the weather, who I was with and a lot of the conversation. Too bad my memory isnt as keen today. lol 7. I became a christian about 10 but went up and down for several years. When I turned 17, I rededicated my life to God and have been serving Him since then. Im so thankful that my Mom took me to church every week. 8. I sometimes wish I had gone to college. I think I would have been a chemist. I love mixing things up and that is probably why I liked doing color at my Salon job. 9. I never had a broken bone, knocked out a tooth until last year when my big toe was broken by Hannah landing on it. I just about passed out from the pain and it still acts up. Glad I didnt have to experience that as a kid. 10. I have always been a happy person, loved and still love to have fun, be silly and laugh alot. I always felt sorry for a classmate who the others didnt like. I would become their friend and they always turned out to be jewels so it was my luck in finding them.
