Heres my dork post for the day. Consider your favorite movie Batman movie actor and what he was BEFORE he was the man in black (or blue). Adam West - for many he IS Batman. He gave us the Batusi. But he was a one line actor in tv shows for a few years before strapping on the tights. 3 episodes of Maverick represent his most consistent gig. Michael Keaton - Come on...hes Beetle Juice. Batman was once a demented clown. Later he copied himself in Multiplicity. Hmmm...wonder how 5 Batmans would turn out. Watch out fans, hell be back as Birdman in 2014. Val Kilmer - Who cast this guy? Hes the perfect stoner look for the DOORS movie, but playing super heroes doesnt seem right. Need I mention The Saint? For the children of the 80s, this Batman will forever be the Iceman. George Clooney - How do you make Kilmer look fantastic? CLOONEY is the answer. Hes a fantastic actor, but his work in Batman and Robin needed some medical help from the rest of his E.R. cast mates. The worst ever? Cant say....Ben Affleck is on the way. Christian Bale - Thought to be, by many, the current day Adam West. He IS Batman. I wonder how many of you remember him as one who had an odd appreciation for Phil Collins and propensity for leaving body parts in the closet. None the less, he made the Dark Knight real. Hopefully Batman doesnt die with him.
