Heres my good deed story... I found a wallet in a phone booth in Santa Rosa when I was living down there.. It had a little cash in it, some credit cards, a ID the whole deal.. I never count the cash, I didnt want to. I found a fireman ID also.. I call the dude and he was hella stoked. I guess is cost bank for all those first aid cards, he came right over.. I handed him this wallet, he looked inside saw the cash, he looked me in the eye pulled out the cash and handed it to me... $37 bucks.. He thanked me and gave me his number and the number of the Bellevue fire station, the station he was stationed at, and he told me if I needed anything to call the Fire Chief... Months later maybe more than a year later.. Deann and I and our two girls, when they were real little, were driving on a very hot day and our car totally dies out on Bellevue Rd. pretty much in the boonies, but close enough to walk to the fire station. It was real hot over 110 degrees I couldnt leave Deann and the kids there. So we all walked. It was pretty scary and hot, no one would stop for us. But we made it to the station... We talked to the guy there, got some water. He call the fire chief, and the chief call a couple guys. They gave us a ride home, the Chief and the guy with the wallet. (I wish I could remember their names) went and got our car took it to the Chiefs house, found out we had blown engine.. then they fixed it and brought it back to us in a couple days.. We were pretty poor then, their good deeds surely help out at the time.. Oh yeah one of the younger guys at the station, had a extra car, that he loaned us for a couple days...
