Heres my plan for welfare reform. Lets start by firing the senate, the congress, the courts, the Vice President and the President. Primarily because this is the largest group of welfare recipients in the country. And lets not forgot all their entourage. Then lets get rid of every government agency created by these welfare recipients because these agencies were not designed to help we the people as they claim, but to guarantee they get to stay in power collecting their enormous welfare checks, perks and benefits. Then lets pass a law establishing that all politicians (who for the most part are all very wealthy and very connected and dont need welfare in the first place) serving in elected positions shall receive no salary for their service to the country, but will be allowed to get reimbursed for approved expenses while carrying out their duties as political servants. This should reduce the appeal of public office to the greedy and power hungry and attract successful individuals that believe giving back doesnt mean take all you want and keep all you get to the death. Then we the people with this renewed and rediscovered freedom can get back to the God given right of governing ourselves.
