Heres my rant of the day. Magnolia has BSL (breed specific legislation) for pitbulls, pitbull mixes or dogs that look like a pitbull or dogs deemed vicious or might be vicious at some point in their life though have never shown it. If your dog escapes your yard and is one of those on THIER list, then before releasing the dog back to you, it is required they inspect your yard for a 10x10 concrete pad with chain link fence around it and a secure top. it does not matter if you keep your dog inside the house nor does it matter that you already have a fenced in yard. Also, any unaltered dogs are charged a different fee than ones that are altered.....somewhere around $100 to get them out. Many people cant afford that just off the top of their heads. The mange, is deplorable seeing as how a $8.00 bottle of DIP from Walmart would cure all the dogs of the scarcoptic mange......geez. Im shocked they have that many. Usually keep them 2 weeks and euthanize........Animal Care Hospital used to do all the euthanizations for the city. I dont know if they still do.
