Heres my take on the new movie: Exodus: Gods and Kings. Its impressive and delivers lush sceneries, graphic and believable battle scenes and stellar acting from the cast. The plagues visited upon Egypt are overwhelming and frightening. Keep in mind, its NOT a film for children under 13 and dont think youre giving anybody a Bible lesson courtesy of Hollywood. Ive long given up on having Biblical accuracy from movies and simply approached this as a movie loosely based on the Bible story. Some may be offended by Gods depiction... I was not. I have a feeling the Almighty can take any form He wants and it didnt trouble me to see God the way Ridley Scott portrayed Him. I found that faith was given a more gentle depiction in this movie and appreciated some of the messages. Overall, I enjoyed the movie. Again, its violent with many battle scenes. It is not Biblically accurate and if that offends, do not see it. A good movie in my humble opinion. #ExodusMovie
