Heres one thing you have to understand about the redemption found through Jesus Christ and why God the Father sent him: It was for our soul, not our flesh. Not saying that His power never manifests miraculously in our flesh but just saying that this is why we still die. Think about it: Before the fall in the garden, Adam and Eve would have never died. After the fall, sin entered into the world, decaying their physical bodies over time. On top of that, sin separated their SOULS from the relationship they had with God the Father. But when Jesus came and redeemed us, he bridged the gap for our SOULS. Nothing changed in the flesh. Thats why everyone still dies in the flesh. Why do we still die in the flesh if the redemption found through Christ is to restore us completely to the state of Adam? It is because we are still in a fallen world and our redeemed souls are STILL in a body of sin which gets depressed and sick and ultimately dies. The good news is that we WILL be restored to the state of Adam when we leave these sick and dieing bodies and this sick and dieing world and receive our NEW bodies at the resurrection. Amen.
