Heres our recommendation for iCloud, Apple ID, and email passwords. Dont use the same password across those three services. The password should be different for each and you should not reuse the same password anywhere else. In addition, you should turn on 2-Factor Authentication in iCloud so that when you add a new device to iCloud, Apple will send you a 4-digit code to ensure that its really you adding the device and not a hacker.
