Heres some U.P. Pride...with Escanaba as the featured Pure Michigan destination. Spokesman Tim Allen invites people to visit Escanaba for a vacation this summer. It is a $120,000 campaign, with half being paid for by the Bays de Noc Convention and Visitors Bureau. The ad highlights the fishing opportunities in the Bays deN oc, as well as the ghost town in the Fayette State Park on the Garden Peninsula. The ads will run on radio stations in the Milwaukee and Traverse City markets May 12 - August 17th. As part of the campaign, the Bays de Noc Convention and Visitors Bureau has changed its website to Visit Escanaba.
