Heres some ideas, some quite hilarious (!) as to the meaning of this song I posted, *A Whiter Shade of Pale*! Ive always loved these rock songs with obscure lyrics, and some that are completely off the radar screen! Maybe the very fact that they are so esoteric points to the mystical experiences induced by the LSD experiments of that time. Other songs that I like, but probably have no idea of what theyre really talking about, are *Levon*, by Elton John, and *Blinded by the Light*, by Manfred Manns Earth Band! How did we ever survive the 60s and 70s? And yet, what an era of creative musical genius, even if not the lyrics! WHY couldnt they have had sensible lyrics? Some did, though, to be fair!
