Heres some pictures of a project I started a couple of nights ago. I bought 2 Pearl drum sets for REALLY cheap. I figured I would flip the nicer kit and make all of my money back, but I didnt think I could make much money off of these in the condition they were in. One of the toms didnt match and they were pretty beat up. I saw a picture online of the same kind of drums that someone had refinished, so I thought I would give it a try. I removed all of the the hardware from the drums, peeled off the white wrap on the shells, sanded, stained and put on 3 coats of clear, polished all of the chrome, then reassembled with new heads. Im pretty happy with the end results, and the sound pretty awesome too!!! Thanks to Allison for letting me turn the dining room into a workshop for a couple days!
