Heres something I wrote today on the special page I created to celebrate my Mom Therese Dentino. Please check it out, click the like button, and share a story or photo there if you knew my Mom. Click here - Remembering Therese Dentino My Mom was the first person in my immediate family to graduate from college. It was exciting to listen to all the new ideas she was exposed to there. She was always learning and expanding her mind. She worried that Id quit school and not even make it through Jr High. But I went on and graduated high school early with Honors. I attended St Xavier University in Chicago, right near where my grandparents are buried. Later, I went to University of Oregon in Ashland where I finished with equivalent to a Masters Degree in Psychology. My sister Marla just got her Masters Degree in Education. My Mom would be so proud! All 3 of us became teachers at some level. Now Marlas daughter Rayne has just graduated high school and begins college in December. My Mom was such a positive role model for us and so many others. She rarely told me what to do. She just lived her life is such a way that she inspired me to want to become a better person. My Mom was full of kindness, love, wisdom, goodness, forgiveness, generosity and fun! I want to be like that. My Mother created quite a legacy. Therese Dentino truly left the World a better place because she was here.
