Heres something interesting. Although the headline is misleading, interesting to see the companys claim to test ALL the tuna it catches for mercury. The article doesnt elaborate on what happens to tuna that test above the standards the company uses. Does it get thrown away or does it go to pet food? What if they consistently catch tuna with high mercury levels, will it contribute to depletion of stocks? Hopefully the Minamata Convention kicks in sooner and help minimize global emissions of mercury.
