According to Reformed theology and soteriology, could it be rightly stated that according to such a system of belief, no one can be told unequivocally that God loves them (in the saving sense) since the Elect are known only to God? Therefore, can any Calvinist who fully embraces the teachings of John Calvin tell anyone: God loves you when they arent privy to whether or not that person/s is/are one of the Elect?
