Heres the 5 a.m. forecast for Tropical Storm Bertha and the morning model array. Theres a strong consensus that this system is destined to ultimately become a Fish Storm which will annoy creatures of the deep and ships at sea. Much needed rains will lash the Greater Antilles (Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, etc.) so Berthas passage could be beneficial. She is currently not forecast to reach hurricane strength. She is no threat to the U.S. Mainland, but may threaten Bermuda next week.---Wayne Salladé---
