Heres the State of Delaware Official Proclamation for Charles Darwin Day. What should not go unnoticed here is that we here in Delaware are the only State in the Nation that has issued something like this, now or ever before. It gives a whole new meaning to the First State. While we are currently crafting a Press Release, in the meantime we want everyone to know that we are officially celebrating on Thursday, February 12th at 5:00pm at the Courtyard Newark - University of Delaware, 400 David Hollowell Drive, Newark, DE. Our guest speaker will be Dr Richard Hanley, Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Delaware. He is a true multidisciplinarian with a background in the philosophy of language, metaphysics, philosophy of mind, philosophy of fiction, ethics, etc. We are hoping to generate as much buzz as possible and would appreciate any of you passing this along, especially to other groups and/or media outlets.
