Heres the best news on Wrongful Conviction Day (Oct. 2): Please welcome Gary Brotherton of Columbia, Missouri to the Free Charles Erickson team, as Charlies attorney. Gary officially signed on today, and we are very grateful for his expertise and special interest in Charlies case. He and Charlie talked at length yesterday and plan a face-to-face visit next Tuesday to resume planning for Charlies appeal. Gary will be in touch with Laura OSullivan to obtain Charlies work file and all essential information. The legal director of the Midwest Innocence Project has pledged to provide support to Charlies new legal counsel. We are SO happy to share this news with all of you!
