Heres the deal: Lake Isabella, California is ~6000 people; the majority of them are elderly, & the food supply is shaky with the economy as it is & the drought where its at. I said wildharvesting cooperative & more than one person lit up at the sound of it, & theres 2 people in this area willing to help- Today I need to make a new flier for Lonewolf, & Im getting his site more professional with prices, then will be contacting companies from there; within days I need to put a flier together calling together anyone interested in co-forming a wildharvesting cooperative so that we can meet & find out who is willing to do some of the groundwork with me. I should get to work; Shelby Cobra Sprouse thank you for that offer- if you want to make a flier calling together Kern River Wildharvesting Cooperative using any of the photos I have together that would be great if youre up for that- having help pulling this together would be grand. Another thing that needs done is a separate website specifically for Kern River Wildharvesting Cooperative needs to be put together- projects to be improved upon. I need more people down here with me seeing what Im seeing firsthand & working by my side to streamline this & do the outreach & article-writing necessary. If someone wants to write an article to Siera Club explaining what were doing that would be very helpful. I can edit.
