Heres the funny farm story for the week. Regal mr Apollo was sunbathing in the pen with the early and non calving cows. A young three year old was concerned at his almost dead appearance and approached him slowly a few inches at a time reaching her nose out to investigate. As her nose nearly touched his foot he twitched scaring the bejeebers out of her she jumped back slipped splay legged and landed on her chin. The ultimate irony is Apollo went right back to his motionless dead possum position. She looked stunned like it didnt even move so she approached again and cautiously reached her nose out again. Again the quick flailing movement and sideways she goes. And still he lays like he did nothing. Now two more stand beside this girl trying to figure out her problem all slowly approach and noses are almost in contact. Apollo squirms and they go bonkers like three bowling pins with a bowling ball down the middle. Apolla jumps up shakes himself off and looks at them I honestly feel there was a smile on his face and a llama chuckle. And who says a llama has no sense of humor
