Heres the message from Marine Connection: Clet - no passport required Marine Connection is delighted to receive reports that the dolphin widely known as Clet, has been sighted recently in Welsh waters. This dolphin just helps to show how wide ranging these animals are - having been sighed off Mull in the not too distant past - it is wonderful to know that he is well. There have been comments that Clet is looking for a pod, but no-one wants him, these comments are totally without foundation as Clet has interacted with many other wild dolphins (some of which are also regarded as ‘solitary’) on many occasions. We would, therefore, suggest that Clet is simply a dolphin travelling alone living his live as he chooses - interacting with other dolphins when he meets them and moving on, enjoying each day as it comes. How so very true! Clet totally reminds me of Dolphin 56 - also a solitary sociable male Bottlenose - that spent his years traveling alone all the way up from Florida to New Jersey all the while making numerous stops to greet humans and interacting with fellow Bottlenoses.
