Heres the new rules for Brigade (for those of you who dont know yet, heres a run down) Theres now an initiate system and everyone (minus the 3 leaders) are initiates. Here is what you need to do to graduate (those who have been in the game a while): A) You must attend practice (impromptu or otherwise) at least twice a month. B) In order to be initiated into the Brigade, there are two tests that you must take. Test 1 - Beat 2-3 members of the Brigade in a single blue match, one on one. Test 2 - Get the approval of any specialist fighter (a vet) that youre ready to fight with that weapon in group battle. Were changing colors to dark blue and dark red. (Maroon/Navy if you want specifics) Were changing the symbol by simplifying it up. Just a crescent moon in the background, a clock hand pointing to midnight, the cardinal numbers, thats all. A bigger change, were taking out Midnight in the Midnight Brigade and replacing it. So for now, were the Brigade. Within the Brigade, were going to put more emphasis on Dayguard and Nightguard. Its going to have more than just an Role Playing effect, they have slightly different missions in battle. Although they will be made to hold their own in group battle, they have emphasis on different roles. Dayguard is more about making a line and holding it. Nightguard will focus more on skirmishing. I am captain of Nightguard, Alex Coats is captain of Dayguard, and Trey Delaney is still captain of the entire Brigade. Everyone is required to have garb for event purposes. The bare minimum garb is -Shirt -Pants -Belt -Shoes -Something extra for your character (Necklace, tabbard, vest, etc) Once you become an official Brigade member there are a few rules you have to follow: -Respect players on and off the field -Leave drama off the field and battle anger on the field -Run RP by your captain before you post it Just as there are rules for being a member, there are privileges -You get to speak as the Brigade, dont say something stupid please -You get a vote in where our money goes, more of a vote if you put money in -You get to bring in new initiates and test others on the single blue test Rules for new initiates Same rules as above with two extra rules: 1) The first practice as a new initiate, the initiate must use blue the entire practice 2) Each practice after that, they have to use one type of melee weapon for an entire practice (ie Red for a practice, spear for a practice, sword and board, florentine) until they cycle through all of them 3) After that they may take their test 4) Once you pass both tests, there will be a mini ceremony followed by a decision of Nightguard or Dayguard, possibly even a beltflag if we get that kind of money/resources.
