Heres the old Paragon Hotel site in Helensburgh. First as it was as shown in an image from the Wollongong Council Library online. Then taken by me of the concrete bunker house, which is actually the bottom floor of the Paragon, and then the edifice that replaced it, which is helping to dispel the title for Helensburgh, closest country town to Sydney. Thank you developers one and all.... No, the Paragon was some how left off any Wollongong Council heritage list.....Note the miners cottage which lasted longer than the whole Paragon...
