Heres the text of the latest email from Terry Murphy: Dear HNMers (and specifically those of you who, on the 18th of September, signed up for communication and marketing, alumnae mass and social, and sponsorship), The plans for Saturday, May 30th are beginning to crystalize. The plan is to have a mass for alumnae and their families in the late afternoon (with a Sunday liturgy) at the Glenvale campus, and we are hoping that one of the bishops will be able to celebrate for us. Anthony Scanga is contacting the Archdiocese. The school will be open earlier in the afternoon with decade displays. (If you were to visit the school today, you would already see all of your class pictures in the hallways {a permanent installation} and some other posters celebrating school life since the 1960s with many pictures of the sisters.) For our celebrations after the mass, we have tentatively booked a banquet hall that is in very close proximity to Glenvale Boulevard. We would like to have a meeting within the next week to make some decisions about the nature of the reception that will follow the mass. Because many of you live in the south, the request was made to have this planning meeting in Mississauga or Oakville. Please reply (REPLY ALL) as to which of the two following dates is best: Thursday, October 8 from 6:30 to 7:30 at St. Andrews Parish Centre in Oakville or Wednesday, October 15 from 8:00 to 9:00 at the Tim Hortons at Sheridan Mall. Please, if you can, spread the word and bring along another one or two alumnae to the meeting. I deeply apologize for the short notice, but we were unable to get a couple of important decisions made here until yesterday. Thanks again, Terry
