Heres the thing...Im already tight when I go to dialysis at 5am, so when I get there I ask for 50mg of Benadryl and in 20mins Im back off to my my happy place. TTBS that pisses me off..1. If you see me with my headphones on I CANT HEAR YOU!!!!!!!! WHY ARE YOU HOLDING A CONVERSATION WITH ME!!!!? Now this one, this is the one that gets me, and shes (the nutritionist) is gonna catch me on a bad day. You come up to me while Im sleeping peacefully with my 50mg dosage of Benadryl, and the FIRST thing out of your mouth is Im sorry for waking you.....No...no youre not...stop...just stop it. If you are so sorry for john brown waking me, THEN YOU WOULDNT HAVE WOKE ME AT ALL!!!!! If theres a problem with my labs then you wake me, but for the past....oh I DONT KNOW FIVE YEARS!!! my labs have been fine, I CAN READ, I dont ned for you to break down every little detail, YOU DRAW LABS ONCE A WEEK!!!! If Im not dying and nothing is killing me, THEN LET ME SLEEP!!!! I dont want to be in this butcher shop to begin with. Im here for 4hrs 15mins and in that time, I dont want to talk, Im not your BFF, and what I did on the weekend is MY business...I dont ask you about yours. Nurse Sam? Yeah, she gets me...I love when she works my bay. If she sees me with my headphones on, all she does is hold up the syringe with my juice (50mg of Benadryl), I nod yes and thats it. If I hadnt put my headphones on yet, she ask...you want your usual?...I sure do, please and thank you. I wish all the nurses could be like Sam...shes my dialysis clinic wife.
