Heres the thing about #Buffalo: My girlfriend often complains about how its ridiculous that everybody from Buffalo thinks that its the greatest place on earth. Nobody understands that the community here has a sense of loyalty to their city and each other that is unparalleled. We dont bail when things get bad. We arent deterred by playoff droughts or cold long winters. We will get through it together, and when the time comes, we will come roaring back. There is a reason that when a new brewery opens in the city, it takes the name Resurgence, paying tribute to Buffalo and the attitude of its people. There is a reason that Buffalo is consistently being listed as trending and up and coming (evident by the many articles shared by your Buffalo Facebook friends). There is a reason that a man with ties to WNY is willing to outspend a rock star and a media group to prevent the smart investment of buying the #Bills and moving them to a bigger market. And there is a reason that the local businesses have put up signs thanking him for stepping in. There is a reason that we think Buffalo is the greatest place on Earth. I dont know if this is our time, yet, but its coming, and when it does, people will remember that weve been saying it all along. Go Bills. Go Buffalo.
