Heres the thing about pastries and sweet nibblies: I Fn love them. I love croissants so much. Especially when theres chocolate in em. I just figure that french women do ok on the carb scene and I sort of enjoy rebelling against that annoying carbophobic situation weve gotten ourselves into. Bring em on yall. But I dont order them by saying cwasohn. Promise. Onto more important Pastrical matters. Lets talk about finely chopped nuts in your pastries; more specifically of the wal variety. Finely chopped nuts only add texture to soft things like candies. Not cookies ever. Also they dont add flavor to cookies. So theyre really just disguised in there to make me enjoy what I think is a delicious chocolate chip cookie that makes my throat close up and my cheeks get all blushy like. Aint nobody complaining about a good old fashioned chocolate chip cookie, and if they do....theyre a communist, as my dad might put it. Chocolate truffles. Nuff said. Cinnamon scones taste so good when you can tell theres a S ton of butter up in there. I guess everything does, really. Alexs moms chocolate cake and my moms cheesecake. Mostly I mean EVERYTHING THAT ANY MOTHER MAKES. Ill have some, please. Im very excited about holiday delights and Id like to consume any of it. Unless there are walnuts. They can go straight to hell.
