Heres to a Grand 2015! What a Wild and Crazy Year 2014 was. Filled with Triumphs and Tragedies! Such is Life. I wanna thank everyone for their Love and Support this year, especially with the passing of my Dear Sister, Kelly. This last year has taught me so much, but more than anything it has taught me to live. Just breathe and live. Here’s what’s happenin’... I have a local producer who would like to do 4 pilot episodes of my cooking show to test initially to the local television market. We are going with the name, “Rock Your Kitchen”, with The Rocker, The Diva, and That Other Dude! I also have an investor for a specialized “One Nite Only” catering service which will include myself bringing my specialized Kitchen Station into your home and providing you a special meal, including Live Entertainment! What a great way to celebrate those special occasions ( Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc )! Romantic dinners, breakfast in bed, brunch on the deck, etc. We’ll custom design an event that will blow your mind! On another note, I received a call from the Food Network earlier this week. I was expecting it to be a schedule of cook-offs preparing for the show. They shared that I tested extremely well on the video interview and thought I had a dynamic personality. While I do have somewhat of a Culinary background as well as a Sous Chef Certificate, they felt they needed someone whom is a Certified Chef, or who works regularly in a restaurant kitchen. Someone more experienced and formally trained. They felt my skills might not be comparable to those who fit this mold. While I am disappointed, I am not discouraged, and do understand their reasoning. Their loss at having a “Rockstar” Chef! lol Some of you know that I’ve had some health issues over the last several years. Toni, my Mother, my Daughter, as well as Myself are taking all of this as a blessing in disguise. I can continue seeing my “many” Physicians here, while still pursuing my dream of sharing Great Music and Great Food! Its what Unites the World! I remain with my Attitude of Gratitude!
