There are times where lots of articulation in the key of B is just lots of articulation in the key of B, and the recording challenge is have a clean run, and for me, do a complete take, meaning no overdubs. The recording equipment that is available on a home computer is amazing, Its possible record one not an fashion it into a whole piece. Its time consuming, hard and NO fun. Id rather just play it a few times and see how it works. Im sending todays Choro of hope out to Alan Lawson, my first clarinet teacher, and the one who used to make me play stuff by ear a skill that definitely has helped in everything Ive ever had to play.
