Heres two adorable necklaces that began yesterday as a simple comment from my husband! I mentioned to John that after the Ann Arbor show was over, Id like to go to the antique mall and see if I could find four more crocheted dolly dress potholders (see photo) to use to make a cute banner for our vintage camper. Hang them up like little dresses on a clothes line. He ignores what I said and replies, Why dont you make them out of polymer clay and string them into a necklace? POW! Mind abuzz, all planned work for the day stops until I get these done! The one on the left was first and I did it in what I consider to be vintage camper colors. I love the little pockets on the center dress! The necklace on the right is done in happy colors and I would wear any of the dresses in my size of course! Moral of this story is that even a left-brained person can see outside of the box now and then! We collaborated on something- John Chandler had the spark and I added the fire!
