Heres what I dont understand... Alabama had missed three field goals already in the game. Saban then passed on kicking a 30-yard chip shot that would have iced the game. He then elected to go for it on 4th and inches - then came up short! A short time later, he insisted on putting 1 second back on the clock to try a 56 yarder with a freshman who had attempted two career kicks? Ill bow at Sabans feet and will admit hes the greatest coach of our generation, but what a collection of boneheaded, dumba$$ decisions lumped into a 15-minute period of time. Greatest finish ever, but after the euphoria has worn off, Im left scratching my head! I will admit, though, it was a lot of fun watching the greatest ever $h!t the bed!
