Heres what I find kind of funny. Back in 1988 the cheapest marketing ploy Universal used was with The Last Temptation of Christ. They got Christians fussing about it. That did more for their movie than any other costly ploy. In 2014, Paramount has done the same with Noah. And, while Im sure there is profitable discussion about these movies out there, it seems to me that most of the profit of any of these discussions and debates, no matter the take or the side, is going into the pockets of the producers. I guess in my experience, Ive yet to see how any of these discussions in these instances or similar ones have either led people to Jesus or helped them understand Gods Word better. It seems to me that Satan has merely used them each time to provide another place for Christians to argue and fuss and set a bad example for the folks in the world. But, Im sure Ill cave, watch the movie, and try to get my 15 minutes of blogger fame by writing a review as well. But, as usual, it will probably be when it is out on video, too late for anyone to care. Did I mention my Da Vince Code review called The Dan Brown Code. I jumped on that bandwagon too late too. edwincrozier/2011/03/30/the-dan-brown-code-a-retro-post/
