Heres what I learned at the TEA Summit: • The Dutch Railway Museum is run by a real-life Robin Williams character unafraid to make fart jokes in front of the entire industry. • Private-Public partnerships like Gardens by the Bay in Singapore and les Machines de Lile in France are doing things with themed entertainment that private enterprise just cant. • Disney is (still) doing things with themed entertainment that Private-Public partnerships just cant. • That conference room held 250 of the smartest, most driven, most successful and most creative people in the world, and I didnt embarrass myself, save that one encounter with the SeaWorld/Busch Gardens architect. • Lore is better at protecting snow leopards than science. • Joe Rhode is kind of insane, but in the best way. • Im good enough, Im smart enough and dog gone it people like me.
