Heres what I need to know... When immigration conducts a raid and persons present them with documents, how do they confirm that it is genuine? Do they have a list generated by the department to verify that these documents were indeed issued to these persons by Bahamas immigration? Do they have a document that has a photo ID with a seal that is tamper evident? I need answers because I would hate to believe that anyone can wave a document in front of an officers face and they get away just like that without proper verification. If Ya ask me a permit receipt is not enough for a short term permit. What if persons have the same name? How do u verify that the person on the receipt is actually who they claim to be without a photo? What if two persons with the same name are using the same documents? Officers need to travel with smart phones or tablets or something to check the immigration database (if there is one). The system has to be improved man..
