Heres what Ive learnt this Ramadan: - -When you feel - TopicsExpress

Heres what Ive learnt this Ramadan: - -When you feel indimidated by someone who you feel is more successful or famous than you, it comes from the wrong mindset where you feel lesser of a man because of this persons authority, power, fame whatever. It can be Bill Gates, Ronaldo, Obama, your boss... by feeling intimidated we tend to look up to people and feel smaller compared to them, and this is because you are not honoring what you have and exagerating what others have. See if you place all your faith in God, only seek help from God knowing that only HE provides food, not your boss, not politicians, not anybody. As soon as you shift to this paradigm it will literally be impossible to feel intimidated by anybody. - -Dont try and control who should be in your life or not. Be the best person you can be and have faith that the right persons will stick. Trying to manage impressions or act in a non-congruent way only leads to attracting many, fake relationships; be it in business, with friends, relationships or networking. Dont try to force relationships on anybody. Be the best friend, lover, business partner, family you can be and be willing to let everybody go. Those who stay are the ones where healthy, genuine relationships can take place. This is who I am, take it or leave it. Somehow God knows whos good for you and whos not. Dont force anything. - -Your problems are just illusions created by your ego. Let go of that ego and find the positive in whatever is thrown at you. Afterall, you are going to sleep tonight not worried about whether a bomb is gonna blow up your house and family, youll wake up with 2 hands and 2 feet, healthy and food on the table. People in Africa or Gaza would wish to swap problems with you. Every night list 3 things you are grateful for that day, you will be much happier in the long run. - -Detach yourself completely from any outcome. Still pursue your goals and dreams but leave the result in Gods hands. If it is good for you, youll get it. If not, something better will come your way. - -Having an abundance mentality gives you peace of mind, and I wouldnt trade a billion dollars for not having peace of mind. Try not to NEED to get that promotion, that business deal, that chick, that car, that opportunity. Know that God can provide PLENTY in this World. Try your best but know that if that thing doesnt happen, too bad something else and better will pop up tomorrow. Just wanted to share my Ramadan experience and hope that you made the most of it. :) Eid Mubarak
