Heres where the going really gets tough. Two young men just brought us a little kitten, a little girl, they found on the side of the road. It appears to have been hit and left for dead. They had tears in their eyes. What can I do but try. Her legs are working, shes responsive though obviously in pain but she has suffered a severe head trauma and is malnourished. All I know to do is what past experiences with such little ones has taught me. Anti-biotics, Albon and a crumble of pain meds in infant formula with a boost of supplement and ... prayer. At this point shes got a 50/50 chance. But even if she doesnt make it, dieing in the warm comfort and company of someone who cares is better than dieing alone, cold and wet on the side of the highway. Getting really tired of tears.
