Heres yet another example of how little support for current original Australian artists there is on Australian TV and Media in general. A one time Pop star long past his prime makes an arse of himself on a dancing reality show and its all over the news. Contrast this to the lack of press or continued support received by a young Australian artist like Gabriella Cilmi who released a new album late last year (and actually had a hit this century) then ask yourself whats wrong with this picture? I Dont watch the show, only watched this clip because I caught some news headlines. Based on the headlines I expected it to be a lot worse but he did make an arse of himself, (intentional or not). All that notwithstanding; it is most likely the most interesting incident that ever has or likely ever will happen on this show or any “talent” based “reality” TV which is why I dont bother watching them in the first place. However millions love them so once again I find myself in the minority and I can live with that ;)
